| |  Anime, a wide set of animated media from Japan for all you laypeople, is gaining wide popularity in the United States. In fact, 'monster trainer' shows, like Pokemon and Digimon, have actually reached mainstream society (at least youth mainstream society), and other shows aimed at pre-teens, like Sailor Moon or Dragonball Z, have followed. However, in searching the Internet, I've noted a lack of sites devoted to the American-aired anime (though Pokemon sites make a good attempt). This can be frustrating for the new fan, who is most likely only familiar with the aired T.V. shows and movies. So, this site's primary focus is on the first aspects most fans encounter: American-dubbed T.V. shows and movies. This site is devoted to four of my favorite anime shows,  Each has character profiles of the regulars, notes on merchandise, and sometimes episode guides or movie summeries. Sunday, February 10, 2002No I didn't die... I've just been busy with other stuff... and I need to replace the Mirax+Corran pic above with the 200 hit one (I scanned it, but the scanner decied red was a good color for everything) -- no one contacted me about 300 hits, so we'll just skip that one.
Re-did the Sailor Moon character profiles and the Digimon ones... and there is gonna be a Season 4 of Digimon -- title is Digimon Frontier, will premiere in Japan in the spring. I've already seen pictures and names (though they probably will be changed when they dub it). Happy happy happy!
In other news, I got a new website, for my art and junk... I order you to check it out.
Friday, January 18, 2002Crud... I'm in trouble... no updates for over a month! Ack! Well, I had finals, then I was at my folk's house with their slow modem and my sister playing the Sims obsessivly. I've also been busy with my online RPG. I'm sorry!
In other news, The Fellowship of the Ring is a great movie. So is Beautiful Mind, even if it isn't science fiction, fantasy or anime -- broaden your horizens.
Let's see... I added a new picture to fanart, and will probably add more soon... planning on reorganizing the character sections... and I want to get another site, dedicated solely to my art and fiction, because I canonly display fanart and gifts here.
Monday, December 17, 2001I can't believe I let the site go for so long. No major updates, except I set the poll to randomly rotate between questions. What poll? The one on the guestbook page -- check it out! Anyway, I'm planning a big change in January, as well as renaming the site -- there's a contest for it in the fanstuff section.

Monday, November 19, 2001I hate clouds. I was all prepared to see the Leonids on Saturday, but we spent 4 hours driving around and all we saw was clouds. Then, I slept through the second episode of Digimon on Sunday (my local station plays them on Sundays). Dang and Blast!
In other news, I went to see Harry Potter and the Sorceror's Stone, which you should all see. I even went in costume. Go to the About Me section to see a picture.

In other news, next week marks the Harry Potter movie premiere, which I'm going to... in costume. I'll take some picture and post them. The Leonid meteor shower is also on Saturday night, meaning I will get no sleep next weekend. Tuesday, November 6, 2001I meant to update Fanart today, but my family's \\$%#@! computer was in the shop. Apperently, the mdem is busted. And that was the only computer I can get to with access to a scanner. So, yuo'll just have to wait. Which is a shame, because I have this great picture I meant to post for Halloween. Too late for that.Sunday, November 4, 2001Digimon Character Guide was updated, and I did a major re-organization of the links page. Expect a fanart update on Tuesday, when I get access to a scanner. I'm working on several chucks of fanfic (which won't be posted until they're finished, but you can read them at Fanfiction.Net, under the pen name Becca Stareyes. Also doing work on my RPG and working on a costume for the Harry Potter movie premire.
How was everyone's Halloween? I dressed up as Mirax Terrik (major geeks points if you know who that is, besides the person Crisi asked me to draw for her Kiriban.). I'll scan in the picture as soon as I get a copy. If you had a neat costume, send me a picture!
New contest! It has come to my attention that I have a bunch of ypos on the site. Send me a list with locations of all the typos, and the one who finds the most will win a specially-done piece of fanart.Old News
