Submission Guidelines
Okay, listen up. I'm a nice person, so you don't have to stick to all of these rules exactly, but I didn't just write these because I was bored. In other words, read and think about these Guidelines, and at least attempt to obey them.
First of all, and this should go without saying, the material submitted should be about one (or more) of the shows this website is devoted to. It can have other stuff (example: a crossover between one of the shows and something else), but it must be relevant to Digimon, Pokemon, Sailor Moon, or Tenchi.
All material must be PG-13 or less in rating. I'll play looser with Tenchi stuff (because the audience is older and presumably more mature), but anything I wouldn't be willing to show the pre-teens I play Pokemon cards with (or would cause me to get chewed out by angry parents if I did) shouldn't be sent. I will insist on following this one to the letter.
Some special things about fanfic:
- Don't violate the continuity of the show, unless you fix it later, or say you're going to.
- Don't write fanfic just to kill off a character or set two characters up.
- Passable grammer and spelling is a must. I'm not a stickler, but all text should be understandable and relativly clear
- Please indicate (if it matters) whether you're using the straight Japanese continuity, or the American one (see the Sailor Moon character section for details why this is important).
- Remember, people want to read about the characters of the shows, not the ones you make up. Yes, I realize you can't just use the canon characters, but your characters should be there to help tell the story, not to be the ones the story is centered on.
Please send all fanfic/writing as either .txt or .html files and all pictures as .gifs. And attach them to the e-mail, don't put them in the body of the message.
Finally, please include your pen name. Otherwise, I'll just use the first name and last initial of your e-mail account. Think about that.
And remember, have fun and be creative.
